the room was a good size for a double room.
On arrival, the key cards did not work. It took multiple attempts by staff to enter the room. there was a clear issue with the key card system and it had not been fixed.

i found the check-in process smooth and efficient. the room included all necessary amenities. morrisons supermarket is conveniently located next door. i also appreciated the reasonable petrol prices at the adjacent station.
the tv remote control only allowed channel changes through numbers, not through a tv guide.

the staff was cheerful after my long drive. check-in was efficient. i found the pub next door convenient. access from the motorway was easy.
a corridor light outside my room was flashing and not dealt with after reporting, i thought it was a possible danger to epileptics.
